SME’s. We provide a range of lending solutions
designed to meet the needs of businesses which
are overlooked by mainstream lenders.
General Capital adopts a holistic approach to credit underwriting, assessing
the client’s business performance and strength of management as well as the
underlying asset security for any given transaction. Our flexibility and speed
of decision making is a key competitive advantage in this sector and the Group
now provides loan facilities to more than 1,000 clients across the UK.
The Group has a diverse loan portfolio with its lending activities delivered through
three principal trading divisions; commercial asset finance, property finance and
venture finance. During 2007 the Group also acquired the specialist commercial
finance broker, Norton Folgate, in order to increase market coverage.
