Grovefield Finance founded by Jonathan Hill as a commercial asset finance business.
2001
Grovefield Finance commences Venture Finance activities.
2003
Grovefield Holdings formed.
2004
Grovefield Holdings acquires Norfolk & Suffolk Finance Ltd and doubles the size of the loan portfolio. In addition to its substantial commercial asset finance book the acquisition of NSF adds small Property and Motor finance activities to the overall portfolio.

Grovefield Holdings acquires General Capital Finance Ltd, introducing an asset finance broker service to the business
2005
Group re-branded as General Capital Group plc with General Capital Finance Ltd and General Capital Venture Finance ltd as trading subsidiaries.
