General Capital Group plc (AIM:GENC), the asset and venture finance specialist, announces that, following Mr. Jonathan Hill's recent decision to resign from the Boards of Sabien Technology Group Plc and Helius Energy Plc, Mr. Hill has also decided to resign from the Board of General Capital, and from his responsibilities as Executive Deputy Chairman of the Group, with immediate effect.
General Capital and Mr. Hill have entered into a consultancy agreement under which he will assist the Group with existing Venture Finance transactions and the origination of further business. Additionally, Mr. Hill, having a beneficial interest in 4,470,504 shares in General Capital representing 17.79 per cent of the issued share capital, has formally undertaken to retain those shares for a period of at least one year, with orderly market provisions for disposals thereafter.
