General Capital Group Plc (AIM: GENC), the independent asset, property and venture finance lending principal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Hartley as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.  Mark Edworthy becomes Executive Director of the Venture Finance division of General Capital, responsible for building on the recent successes of this part of the business. 

Steven brings fifteen years of senior executive Board level experience while at fast growth, AIM-listed companies, including asset based lender, Euro Sales Finance Plc and NetServices Plc.  ACA accredited, Steven is well versed in both communicating to shareholders, investors, bankers and the wider financial community as well as implementing high quality and rigorous procedures within companies.
